Day 01.

Negombo

Day 02.

Sigiriya

This morning, depart on your journey to the nature surrounding Sigiriya. Once in Sigiriya, visit the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya fortress is one of the main tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. It is located in the northern extremity of the Matale district. Above 350 meters, Sigiriya has a striking geological profile, being a rocky outcrop in the northern semi-highland zone. It is one of Sri Lanka’s ancient political capitals and most sensational archaeological heritage sites that has also been listed on the World Heritage list. Ancient water garden systems, mirror walls, and paintings are the most popular highlights among world visitors. After the 14th century, Sigiriya was completely abandoned and was swallowed up by the surrounding jungle, forgotten and quite alone in its glory.

After your exploration of the Sigiriya fortress, enjoy your evening by checking out the city’s vibrant bar and restaurant scene at your leisure. Overnight Sigiriya

Day 03.

Minneriya

  • Highlights : Elephant safari at Minneriya National Park ,  sunset at Pidurangala Rock.

After a few more laid-back hours this morning, set off on a jeep to get your exciting safari experience at Minneriya National Park. Minneriya Park is one of the best places in the country to see elephants, which are often present in huge numbers. Circling the beautiful Minneriya Tank (3C-A.D), the green surroundings are strikingly different from the arid landscape. You are almost certain to see elephants because you are part of the elephant corridor that connects Kaudulla and Wasgamuwa.During the months of August and September, one of the most awesome wildlife spectacles, “THE GATHERING,” which is ranked sixth in Lonely Planet’s ten greatest wildlife spectacles, takes place. Over 300 elephants converge to enjoy the tank with the receding water level to play and make merry. A variety of bird life could be spotted, including some endemic to Sri Lanka. 

After your exciting elephant safari, drive to Pidurangala and in the evening, enjoy the stunning sunset on Pudurangalaаrock above. Overnight Sigiriya

 

Day 04.

Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to the hill capital of Kandy, visiting a herbal and spice garden en route. In a herbal garden, you will learn about Sri Lankan spices and the health properties of herbs, spices, and plants, including cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, coffee, nutmeg, pepper, cardamon, aloevera, iriweriya, and the henna plant.

Afterwards, the journey will continue to Kandy. In the evening get a Kandy cultural dancing experience and  stroll around Kandy City .

Day 05.

Kandy

Today was our first visit to the highly famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. a Known colloquially as a “Sri Dalada Maligawa.”It’s a Buddhist temple, and It is located in the royal palace complex of the former kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. The relic was historically held by Sinhalese kings. The Temple of the Tooth is a World Heritage Site, mainly due to the temple and the relic. The temple is visited by locals and tourists bearing flowers and incense daily throughout the day and night. Here, visitors can observe poojas (offerings), the ancient traditions of drumming and sacred chanting in honour of the tooth relic, being performed several times each day.

After your visiting at the tooth temple, our next is Beautiful Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. The Peradeniya Gardens is easily one of the best of its kind in the world. The many beautiful avenues will lead one to sections which provide a┬а burst of tropical color. The great lawns highlight huge tropical trees, while you will be surprised at the variety of bamboo that can be found in one place.The best known attraction of the Garden is the Orchid House, which has more than 300 varieties of exquisite orchid from the rare indigenous Foxtail and Vesak orchids, to many natural and hybrid species which have made this one of the best known orchid centers of the world. The Spice Garden gives you a first hand introduction to the trees, plants, and creepers that produce the special of Sri Lanka. The Herbarium grows many of the plants used for the traditional Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia..

After the royal garden enjoy your an exciting Kandy shopping visiting at Gem & Jewelry , silk & batik , and wood carving factories. Thereafter. soak-up with the panoramic view and stunning sunset at Kandy View point. Overnight Kandy.

 

Day 06.

Nuwara eliya

  • Highlights : visit  tea plantation and factory , breathtaking landscape with tea hills and water falls,  Ambuluwawa Tower and bio Diversity Park.

Today we are making our way from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, visiting the famous Ambuluwawa Mountain hill, tea factory and plantation en route. The Ambuluwawaa mountain peak and tower are highly famous among world travelers. This mountain peak, which is situated at an altitude of 3567 feet above sea level, is an important place for history and biodiversity. Clearly visible mountains such as Pidurutalagala in the east, Bathalegala or Bible Rock in the west, Sri Pada or Adams Peak in the south, and the Knuckles Range in the north, enrich the scenic beauty of the place. Other than these, mountain ranges visible from the summit of Ambuluwawa, the scenic beauty of Kadugannawa, Alagalla, Hanthana, and Hunnasgiri mountains are also clearly visible.

The treasured biodiversity of the surroundings of Ambuluwawa provided vital resources for the researchers. Therefore, Ambuluwawa is a world-famous natural attraction.

 Afterwards, the journey continues to Nuwara Eliya. The formalized paraphrase tea carpeted hills and Ramboda water falls provide beautiful scenery on your journey. While you visit a tea factory, tasting the best cup of tea and learning about tea processing will make your Sri Lankan stay more exciting. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya 

Day 07.

Nuwara Eliya

Today we make our journey to  the world-famous Horton Plain National Park. This is one of the few national parks in Sri Lanka where visitors can walk on their own. Horton Plains is a beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second and third-highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2357m). The “Plains” are an undulating plateau over 2000 m high, covered by wild grassland and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls, and misty lakes. Spanning approximately 10,000 hectares, the park is also home to a wide variety of flora (57 species, 29 endemic to Sri Lanka) and 24 species of mammals such as elk, deer, giant squirrel, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine and leopard. For bird enthusiasts, there are 87 species (14 of which are endemic), including many migratory birds.

The Plains also feature many interesting attractions, such as “Bakers Falls”, “Chimney Pool” and the famous “World’s End” (a 3700 ft sheer drop that offers fabulous views of the tea estates below and all the way out to the distant southern coastline). An exhilarating, beautiful excursion from Nuwara Eliya (27 km), it forms the eastern extremity of the park’s Wilderness Sanctuary. The Horton Plains National Park is undoubtedly one of the world’s best nature reserves and eco-tourism venues in Sri Lanka. It was declared a UNESCO world site in 2010.

After the Horton Plains, the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy. So, in this Nuwara Eliya town, take in the beautiful local sights and relax by the Gregory lake.Nuwara Eliya

Day 08.

Ella

Today we are taking a train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. The most beautiful train journey in the world. After breakfast, enjoy a few more laid-back hours in picturesque Nuwara Eliya, and in the early afternoon, make a short drive to the Nanu Oya railway station in time for your Ella train. While you are enjoying the breathtaking views and the landscaping, make your cameras busy to bring back your unforgettable memories with you. After your exciting train ride, spend the evening at leisure exploring Ella city. Overnight Ella 

 

Day 09.

Ella

Hello, Ella.

It is firmly entwined with the love triangle of Sita, Rama, and Ravana in the Indian epic Ramayana. Ella is strewn with reminders of Sita’s imprisonment in Sri Lanka. Every rock, stream, or waterfall is named after Sita or Ravana. 

After having the nature surrounding a lovely breakfast, you trek to Little Adam’s Peak to see the famous Nine Arch Bridge and an incredible mountain view from above. Thereafter, walk to the top of Ella Rock and visit the breathtaking Ravana Ella Falls. Overnight Ella

 

Day 10.

Yala

Today Our journey heads to Nature surrounding Yala . Once in yala, enjoy the peaceful beauty of nature surrounding, evening set on a jeep to your exciting LEOPARD safari at Yala National Park. Overnight Yala.

Day 11.

Mirissa

GET UP…  GET UP… IT’S A BEACH TIME……

Today we proceed to Sri Lanka’s most beautiful beach, Mirissa. Mirissa is stunning. The golden sands, interesting waves, and plam trees around you make your beach adventure unforgettable. Mirissa is known for its exquisite sandy beach, which renowns its visitors’ dreams of a tropical paradise land into an everyday reality. It is correct.also known as the beach where jesters lay back. It is settled in the southern coastal belt of the country. Mirissa is noted as the largest fishing port and is well known for its flavourful tuna, mullet, snapper and butterfish. Mirissa owns some of Sri Lanka’s best and most glamorous sunsets and sunrises due to its crescent formation. This palm-fringed land is one of the main whale and dolphin watching hotspots in the country, offering a tranquil stay while on holiday. Mirissa is the ideal place for surfing, snorkeling, and other watersports. Mirissa’s beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination.

Today’s activities are not scheduled. So relax on the white sand beach, go exploring and keep your foot in the beer halls that you may have missed yesterday. Overnight Mirissa

Day 12

Mirissa

Day 13

Colombo

  • Route : Mirissa > Galle > colombo 
  • Drive : 2 Hrs 30 min

  • Highlights:  Visit the Dutch Fort of Galle.

After Ocean View  lovely breakfast, we proceed to the capital city of Colombo, visiting the Dutch Galle Fort en route. Galle is a jewel. The UNESCO World Heritage Site This historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-Colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums. Built by the Dutch, beginning in 1663, Most travellers are utterly seduced by Galle’s ambience, and it’s undoubtedly southern Sri Lanka’s one unmissable sight.

After your exploration of the Galle Fort, head up to Colombo and spend the rest of the afternoon finishing up some last-minute shopping before you leave Sri Lanka. Overnight Colombo
